Secure Payment
Payments made on the Éditions Mergoil website are processed through the secure Up2Pay e-Transactions platform provided by Crédit Agricole, a French banking institution.
During the checkout process, you are redirected to the secure payment interface of our banking partner. Payment card information is processed directly by the bank and is never transmitted to or stored on the servers of Éditions Mergoil.
Payments are processed and charged immediately upon successful authorisation by the bank. Éditions Mergoil does not operate a deferred payment or delayed charging system.
In accordance with European payment regulations (PSD2), your bank may require Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) to validate the transaction. This verification may involve the use of a mobile phone, banking application or other authentication method provided by your bank.
Transactions are protected using encryption protocols designed to ensure the confidentiality and security of payment data.
As payments are processed through a French banking platform, certain foreign payment cards or banking institutions may occasionally be incompatible with the payment system.
